Tokyo, Japan – The Palau Visitors Authority (PVA) is pleased to announce the successful completion of its Tokyo Seminar, which welcomed a full house of 95 attendees, including leading travel agents and media professionals.
After months of preparation, the seminar delivered a dynamic program of presentations highlighting Palau’s natural beauty, culture, and growing tourism opportunities. Presentations were delivered by PVA, United Airlines, the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, representatives from Melekeok and Airai States, Kyoto Sangyo University, and 10 Palau-based suppliers representing tour shops, hotels, and resorts.
The venue itself reflected the spirit of Palau, with décor elements inspired by the island nation’s pristine environment and vibrant traditions. Through the program, attendees gained valuable insights into Palau as a premier travel destination.
With the post-pandemic tourism market becoming increasingly competitive and welcoming many new industry professionals, the seminar served as an essential knowledge-sharing platform. A key highlight was the announcement of a new direct flight route between Japan and Palau, set to launch on October 29, 2025, offering Japanese travelers a more convenient way to experience the pristine paradise of Palau.
