Aimeliik State is quickly becoming a "must-visit" destination thanks to the vision of Governor Browny Simer. Visitors can now immerse themselves in cultural heritage at the Bai ra Keai or set off for an adventure on Ngerchebal Island. Once just a distant view from the bridge, Ngerchebal has been transformed into a fully-equipped getaway perfect for snorkeling, picnicking, or camping under the stars. For those eager to explore Palau’s heritage, the Visitor Information Center now features a new exhibit on Jollie Liston’s groundbreaking research into Palau’s unrivaled archaeological terraces. Start your journey with a tour of the Bai and this immersive exhibit to enrich your exploration of the ancient sites.
With vital support from the U.S. Embassy and Taiwan Embassy, these upgrades ensure our cultural legacy endures while expanding our tourism industry to include a wider range of activities beyond scuba diving. These new additions join a recently developed site called, Ngerderar Watershed Conservation Area, where guests explore tranquil nature trails and cascading falls. We congratulate Aimeliik State and all partners on these achievements and warmly invite visitors and tour operators to experience all Palau has to offer!
