Amid the series of leadership meetings held during the Pacific Islands Forum, Palau Visitors Authority (PVA) Director Kadoi Ruluked and his team met with H.E. Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Philippines, to discuss tourism developments in Palau and potential opportunities to engage the Malaysian market and expand Halal tourism offerings.
Ambassador Castelino shared upcoming networking and trade show opportunities in the Philippines that could support PVA’s capacity building and provide valuable knowledge-sharing platforms to further develop Palau’s understanding and readiness for the Halal tourism market.
He was accompanied by First Secretary Tan Foo Koeng, Chairman Stephen Khaw of the Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI) Philippines, and Ms. Hannah Anhag, Head of Philippine Government Affairs & Media, MCCI.
