Airai State Presents: Fishing Derby!

Fishing Derby Date:
Saturday, March 29, at JP Bridge, Airai Side
Fishing Times:
- Trolling: 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Bottom Fishing: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Official Time Cut: Crossing under the JP Bridge
- All participants must check in and out at the Airai Side
Entry Fees:
- Trolling: $50
- Bottom Fishing: $30 (5-person limit per boat, $10 for each additional participant)
- Late Registration: $10 additional fee
Qualifying Weight:
- Billfish: > 100 lbs
- Tuna: > 20 lbs
- All Other Pelagic Fish: > 10 lbs
- Bottom Fishing: Only 10 selected assorted species will be weighed
Prizes:
- Billfish: $800, $500, $300
- Tuna: $700, $400, $200
- Other Pelagic Fish: $500, $300, $200
- Bottom Fishing: $400, $300, $200
All weighed catches will become the property of the Airai State Government.
