The Ms. Belau Pageant serves as a platform for young Palauan women to celebrate their beauty and strength within our rich culture. Beyond highlighting their inner and outer beauty, this pageant also serves as a scouting ground to identify potential candidates who may represent Palau at the prestigious World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan.
Note: All mixed relay teams must have at least (1) female swimmer. Teams are encouraged to include a national swimmer, a Lion/Jr Lion Swimmer, and Community swimmer.
The "Olechotel Belau Fair" is an annual celebration typically held during the week of October 24th. However, this year, it coincides with our Independence Day festivities. This grand event serves as a platform for all 16 states to proudly display their rich cultural heritage through captivating performances. These cultural showcases encompass a diverse array of traditions, including Delal a Ngloik, Ruk, Boid Osakou, Chesols, Rebetii, Delang, Derabechesiil, Keskes er a rengalek, and Contemporary Dance. The Olechotel Belau Fair is a collaborative effort, led by the Organizing Committee in partnership with the respective state governments, reflecting the unity and cultural diversity of our beloved Palau.
The 5K Walk/Run event is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of the people of the Republic of Palau. Specifically, this event places a significant focus on raising awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, observed throughout the month of October. Organized collaboratively by the Organizing Committee, Palau Track and Field Association, and the Non-Communicable Disease team, this event stands as a collective effort to encourage physical fitness and contribute to the important cause of breast cancer awareness.
